Sample and purchase delicious chestnuts roasted on an open fire - Chestnut vendors selling their crafts and wares - Purchase chestnut saplings for planting - Meet Chestnut Researchers - Activities for all ages and types of interest.

Noon - 2:00 pm
West Virginia Chapter Meeting of The American Chestnut Foundation. The public is invited and encouraged to attend.

4:00 - 5:00 pm Chestnut Scientific Program Featuring keynote speakers & woodworking specialist Bob Walters.

FREE TACF membership offered to all attendees thanks to our generous benefactor Duane Waddell and the WV Chapter of TACF.

5:30 - 7:30 pm Gala Chestnut Dinner Banquet Festival dinner menu includes savory Chestnut-flavored dishes. Crowning of the 7th Annual Chestnut Royalty, Bryan and Lisa Burhans, past President and CEO TACF.

River City Café serving breakfast, lunch and delicious desserts.

Permanent exhibits including the acclaimed WWII Museum, B&O 1927 Centenary Bridge Exhibit, Carolann Hooton Library, 4-H History and Learning Center, Quilting Room, Art Room, Preston County Sports Museum.

The Annual Chestnut Festival is hosted by the Rowlesburg Revitalization Committee, Rowlesburg Tourism Commission and the Town of Rowlesburg.
