Paddle To The Sweet Shine Kayak & Canoe Tour to Award Winning Distillery

River & Trail Outfitters has teamed up with Bloomery Plantation Distillery, in Charles Town, WV, crafting a fun, festive and flavorful day where participants paddle the mellow, wilderness-surrounded Shenandoah River and then tour a local distillery and taste a variety of their handcrafted limoncello and liquor goodness.

Wheels of Hope

The Wheels of Hope 9th annual ride promises to be the most sublime bicycle ride of your life. Our century bike ride of 113 miles and 8500+ feet of climbing will leave you tired but so proud of your accomplishment. We now have a new 31 mile route with many of the best parts of riding in beautiful West Virginia. Our four routes traverse one and two lane, paved country roads and enjoy beautiful farmland views with mountain vistas. All rides begin and end in historic Lewisburg, voted “THE COOLEST small town in America” for 2011 by Budget Travel magazine.
Early registration is Friday night, and we are pleased to tell you that the Historic General Lewis Inn will host us in their beautiful inn from 4:00 PM til 7:00 PM! A complimentary beverage for registered riders will be their gift to you!. You may still register the morning of the ride beginning at 6:30 AM. Bagels and coffee will be available. Subscribe to our newsletter for full details and the schedule of events.
A free t-shirt, choice of men’s or women’s cut, will be included for those who register prior to July 1st.
Approved safety helmets are required! The ride will take place rain or shine. No refunds will be given for any reason.
