Come be a part of the wedding rehearsal of the
beauty and the geek, Olivia and Stanley...
None of the parents are overjoyed at the joining together of these two lovebirds in holy matrimony nor the collision of worlds at the upcoming "chic" (aka cheap) wedding.
The affair is being coordinated by socialite and stepmother, Bernadette Rogers, who has had a whole lot of experience in the planning (and execution) of weddings and such affairs.
Martha Zittle and her cranky mother Gertrude, newly wealthy due to their copious gas (found on their property) try hard to fit in with the" hooshy cooshy" Rogers and their friends.
When one of the guests kicks the bullet, (as we say at Parables), it's up to the other guests to solve the crime by looking at the evidence, questioning the suspects and keeping track of clues.
$50 plus tax per person

Fayette County Historical Society is holding it's first sweetheart dinner on Friday, February 12th, 2010. Tickets are $30 per person and include dinner, entry into drawing for chance to win prizes throughout the event, and a ticket to the Contentment Museum Complex. Dinner will be held at the Canyon Vista Restaurant inside the beautiful Hawks Nest State Park, in Ansted, WV. Dinner choices include petite filet mignon w/hand breaded fried shrimp and baked potato or grilled boneless breast of chicken with rice pilaf, both entrees also include steamed broccoli w/cheese sauce, house salad, rolls, desert and soft drink.

“VALENTINE EXPRESS DINNER TRAIN”
Spend a special evening with that special someone for Valentines Day.
The South Side Depot is hosting the “Valentine Express Dinner Train” on Saturday, February 13th. .
The unique Valentines Day experience will provide a special evening in an area known as the 'HeartBeat' of the Potomac Highlands.
Passengers on the “Valentine Express Dinner Train” will begin boarding at 4:30pm at South Side Depot.
This romantic evening is casual but elegant and for adults only.
The Depot is going to make this evening very special for their guests, and you never know, we might even have a couple marriage proposals.
The train will be debarking on a two and half hour trip through the beautiful Potomac Highlands winding along the Potomac River.
Passengers will get a chance to view historic buildings, scenic rock formations, native wildlife such as the bald eagle.
Featured will be a catered Prime Rib Dinner by Gourmet Delights.
